Gilwell 24 2009 is on Saturday 11th July (9am) until Sunday 12th July 2009 (9am). There is an additional package including Friday night camping available.
It is now confirmed that the formal handover from Peter Duncan to Bear Grylls as Chief Scout will take place during Gilwell 24.
The event is open to all Explorer Scouts and Senior Section Guides aged 14-18 and those linking to these sections.
Gilwell 24 consists of 24 long hard hours of fun and activities where half of the challenge is just keeping going until the bitter end.

Gilwell 24 is an activity and challenge based event, you need to take part to get the most out of it - however if you'd prefer to just sit around with your friends we can cater for that as well. Due to the nature of the activities currently planned there will be a series of consent forms to be completed so its going to be important to get your bookings in early so you don't end up missing out on some of the special activities.
